Facial and Body Massage Cupping Therapy
What is Cupping Therapy?
Cupping therapy can be traced back to ancient Chinese, Egyptian and Middle Eastern cultures. The technique is even described in one of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, which means ancient Egyptians may have been using cupping therapy as early as 1,550 B.C
“Where there’s stagnation, there will be pain. Remove the stagnation, and you remove the pain.”
The old Chinese medical maxim holds that pain results from the congestion, stagnation, and blockage of Qi, or vital energy, vital fluids, lymph, phlegm, and blood. If pain is the essence of disease, then suffering is a result of obstructed or irregular flow in the body. Cupping is therefore a method of breaking up the blockage to restore the body’s natural flow of energy.
Body Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite. For weight loss and cellulite treatments, oil is first applied to the skin, and then the cups are moved up and down the surrounding area.
Stationary cupping CAN leave marks
However these marks aren’t bruises, nor painful, they are toxins being brought to the surface and show me the area’s most in need of help.
My client’s main complaint was of low back, upper back and neck shoulder tightness and pain.
Please note, the deeper red cup marks show exactly where her problem areas are.
They are a wonderful diagnostic tool in which the cups and the body shows me where it needs help.
These are marks of her 1st session. Afterwards, she felt much better, the tightness had softened.
With the 2nd and 3d treatment very little redness came up and it dissipated quickly.
This is a great indicator to show cupping has helped with detoxification and stagnation.
Moving cupping - feels good, if you don’t want marks.
- Gentle way break up adhesions, treat edema
- Release toxins, tight muscle pain,
- Relax the nervous system
- Increase circulation, and feel better.
- Your skin will have a rosy glow with NO MARKS.
- It gives continued improvement for 3+ days.
Adhesions, can form as the body tries to heal after a surgery or injury. When skin touches down to muscle, it can stick like superglue instead of being able to be mobile, Cupping Massage can break up those adhesion’s and help maintain, and in most situations, regain, mobility.
Another massage technique that has become popular is manual lymphatic drainage. Gentle suction in rhythmic movements stimulates lymph flow and encourage drainage when there’s been an abnormal buildup of fluids.
- *My medi-cupping machine can give the lightest lymph drainage treatments for delicate constitutions and facial skin.
It can be used in the delicate eye area to help bring more circulation to the area, as it helps tone-firm the skin.
It’s also is helpful for allergies to help clear sinus.
Facial cupping is a wonderful way to “turn back the clock” and regain youthful elasticity. Especially when combined with LED light and Micro-current.
These are the results possible following my Holistic rejuvenation protocol.
As we all know, there are a lot of different skin types out there. Some people have dry skin while others have oily; some people have smile lines and others frown lines. A typical cupping session lasts about 30 minutes, and for the best results it’s best to get work 1 to 2 times per week until you reach your desired result.
There are often visible differences in skin quality after the first session but for longer lasting and more dramatic results it can take anywhere from 5 to 10 visits and is improved if you keep up good eating habits, exercise and hydration.
If you’re looking for a way to improve your skin without chemicals, surgery or other extreme measures, facial cupping could be exactly what you’re looking for.
